Assign classroom jobs to students fairly and rotate duties without repeats.

Add students and jobs, then press "Assign Jobs."
Switch to the Students tab and paste your class list, one name per line. Switch to the Classroom Jobs tab and list your duties the same way. Press "Assign Jobs" and each student is randomly matched to one job. Need a different mix? Hit "Reshuffle" for a fresh draw in an instant.
Line leader, board cleaner, plant waterer, paper passer, or tech helper — really any short rotating duty works. Type your own list; the tool doesn't come with a fixed set of jobs baked in, so it fits whatever roles your classroom actually uses.
Turn on "Avoid previous assignments" in Advanced options and each new round checks against the last one, steering students away from repeating the same job back to back. Reassign weekly or daily and everyone cycles through different duties over time instead of getting stuck with one job all term.
More students than jobs? By default the extra students are left unmatched that round — or turn on "Allow repeated jobs" so jobs get reused until everyone has one. More jobs than students? The extra jobs are simply left unused for that round.
Students and jobs are matched using your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, so every valid pairing has a fair chance.
Turn on "Allow repeated jobs" in Advanced options to reuse jobs so every student gets one, or leave it off to assign jobs to as many students as possible and leave the rest unmatched that round.
Yes. Turn on "Avoid previous assignments" and the generator checks new assignments against your last round before finalizing them.
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your lists are only saved on your own device and are never sent to a server.
